“I have always incorporated Still Life into my work, and as I was looking for materials, I found that many of the foods had an otherworldly quality,” shares artist Shayna Fontana. Having recently debuted Beyond the World, a highly curated tableware collection, launching with retailer Forty Five Ten, Fontana serves up a new perspective toward the dinner table. “We’ve gotten used to seeing these foods in everyday settings, but when you look at them in a different way, they are so mysterious and beyond what we think we know about them.” The covetable collection of fine-bone porcelain plates and platters available at luxury boutique Forty-Five Ten marries the ultimate mix of art and every day.
